Arriving in Jaipur: Airport, Station and the First Night
The part of a Jaipur trip that most often goes sideways is the ride from the airport or the station. Sneh Deep Guest House is easy to find once the driver has the right name: B-33, Sethi Colony, Pustakalaya Marg, Jaipur 302004. Search “Sneh Deep Guest House” on Google Maps before you get in the cab.
Rough distances from our door: Jaipur Airport about 13 km (30–35 minutes), the railway station about 5 km, the bus stand about 4 km, and City Palace about 3 km. Fares move with traffic and fuel, so treat the figures below as a guide and check our transport page when you travel.
From Jaipur Airport
Ola or Uber from the airport is usually around Rs. 200–300. A private cab is often around Rs. 350. Both take about half an hour to Sethi Colony in ordinary traffic. Put the guest house name in the app, then confirm the driver is heading to Pustakalaya Marg in Sethi Colony.

From Jaipur Railway Station
The station is about 5 km away. Two options work well:
- Prepaid auto. Use the prepaid stand under the high mast light at the main exit, towards platform 1. Pay Rs. 2 for the token slip and name Sneh Deep Guest House. The ride itself is around Rs. 100, paid to the driver.
- Ola or Uber. Often simpler, and the pin on the map removes the argument about the address.
Some station drivers say the guest house is “too far” and offer another hotel. That is a commission stop. Stay with the prepaid slip or the app booking. The same applies to an unsolicited offer of shopping the next morning. If you want a car later, we book drivers we already use.
If you are giving directions by voice: we are past Ghat Gate, at the end of MI Road. From Sethi Colony Gurudwara, turn right onto the wide road toward Pink Square (Govind Marg), go about 100 metres, turn left at the first traffic light by Tata Motors onto Pustakalaya Marg, and count to the sixth house on the left. That is B-33.

From the bus stand
The bus stand is about 4 km from the guest house. An app cab is the straightforward choice, using the same address. If you are arriving with a lot of luggage, say so when you write and we will suggest a car rather than an auto.
The first evening
A late arrival is a good evening to stay in. Sethi Colony is a residential lane, so the house is quiet after dark, and the rooftop is there for tea. Amber Fort can wait until the next morning. City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal sit together and are a short drive when you are rested.
Home-style vegetarian meals are cooked on prior request. If you want dinner on the night you land, tell us before you travel.
